# How can I be part of the campaign?

Owning Cannabis with Ortusol Cannabis Asset (OCA) is a simple and accessible process, designed to provide participants with a seamless and secure way to acquire real medical cannabis through blockchain-powered tokenization.

#### Steps to Acquire and Redeem OCA Tokens

#### I. Connect Your Wallet to Base

* Use Metamask, Coinbase Wallet, or any wallet compatible with the Base network.
* Ensure you have USDC on Base to purchase OCA tokens.
* Important: A small amount of ETH on Base is required for gas fees, which are minimal.

#### II. Purchase OCA Tokens with USDC

* Log in to the Ortusol platform and select the amount of OCA tokens you wish to acquire.
* Your purchase is processed through a secure smart contract, assigning the tokens directly to your wallet.
* Each OCA token represents a claim on real cannabis production, redeemable upon harvest.

#### III. Redeem Your Cannabis or Use the Commercialization Service

* At the end of each agricultural cycle, token holders can redeem their OCA tokens for real medical cannabis.
* Participants can either:
  * Claim the physical cannabis and arrange their own logistics.
  * Opt for Ortusol’s commercialization service, where we facilitate the sale of redeemed cannabis on your behalf at market rates.
* If using Ortusol’s commercialization service, proceeds from cannabis sales will be transferred to token holders in USDC.
